last Thursday Through Sun-
day, Flatonia received a
I .wonderful blessing in the
form qf 4.65 inches of“pre-
cioiis rain, according to fig-
ures recorded by Lloyd Fear-
* son, keeper of the official
weather records for F*la-
tonia.
A large portion of the
rain came down slowly, with
heavy showers at intervals.
There was little or.-no wind
and no hail.
With this rainfall, the best
