"The thing that hits me right off the bat is that there is so much talent. ( see a lot of maturity that J feel that we didn t have because
we were not exposed to the same things. I came in the '40s and we had no TV. We were not exposed to things that kids now hjje
grown up on. They know how to perform. They know they have talents that have already been developed. Many of us came so ;
immature and we blossomed while we were here and they will too. I'm Impressed with the qiiality of students that we get."

"The size of the campus. The whole camDus has lust been changed so much. That's the bloaest single thing that I notice. The stu-
dent center was in barracks in the middle of the campus right across from the cafeteria where the science building is now. Wo ao-
our mail there."

The biggest difference is the dress. When I was here pants Were not allowed for classes or anything like that. I also think 1 see more
friendliness. Everyone just seems more casual more hospitable. It's just great to be here. Everyone seems so glad to see you and .glad
you're here and accepting no matter how you're dressed or what race you are. My son goes to school here and he has friends from
all different countries. That's really neat. There's more diversity here than when I was a student in the '60s. There's also more oppor-
tunities especially for women. They're in the ministry fields in the Bible classes In the ministry classes which was something that Wis
unheard of when I Was here. ACU never loses its charm never loses its magic Every time I set foot on this campus I feel like I'nvffi a
whole different world and it's great coming back. I .

"The biggest shift in the campus is that the center of the campus when I was here was thd-
Administration Building. Now the center of the campus is back at the Bible building. That's'
major difference because I hardly ever go in the direction of the Administration Building when4
ever I come and that was the central location. That was where you went to all your classes? t

"The main difference between ACU whenever I attended and today Is the facilities. The facilities
are just light years ahead of what they were whenever I was in school not even 15 yeawago.'
The Bean Sprout is incredible compared to what it was when I was here. It was a dump when
was here. You never ate down there. I never did. The computers in every building the ability .to
hook up by modem wherever you're sitting all of that is just vastly different. One thing that;
has stayed the same is all the students are still very nice and welcoming to people who corte
back and they are still real nice kids just like when I was here." ' "
