"Sheep sheds," 1914

Description: Photograph of temporary buildings, or "shacks," that were used as classrooms and administration offices after the West Texas State Normal College building was destroyed by fire in 1914. Two one-story unpainted frame buildings are visible, with a windmill in the foreground. Two or three men are standing between the two buildings, one of them identified as Dr. J. A. Hill.
