Toque inspired hat of black velvet with four bands of tricolor red-orange silk velvet at base of hat. Bands circle to left side and end at a point on the crown. Small elastic chin strap. Lined in black silk. Designer's label: "Madame Marie-Alphonsine Modes / 73. Champs Elysees / Paris" Label attached to top of designer's label: "Made in France" Size label to left of designer's label: "22"
