Mrs. Clay, joined by her husband
n the action, alleges that Buzbee
sub-rented the building at $30 a
month during a contract he held
on it after The Sun was moved.
She claimed the original contract
was to expire July 31, 1949, but
rent payments were stopped May 1.
In his answer to Mrs. Clay’s
petition, Buzbee alleged the sub-
renter, D. M. Jones of Sulphur
Springs, owner of a parts store,
was forced to clpse his business
when she threatened him with a
hike in rental prior to expiration of
the original lease. This harassment
of the sub-renter constituted a
violation of the original lease, the
defendant alleged in his answer.
He also charges the building is
