SOFTYKNM OF VOICE.
There are some people In the world
whose voloes afford Constant music.
There are others that are so unfor-
tunately pitched that they grate upon
, the ears as an unfriendly sound.
It is rarely expected to find music
in the voice of a man. He sometimes
develops vocal beauty and immediate-
ly seeks the operatic stage for recog-
nition. The voices of our women, on
the contrary, we atways expect to be
beautiful. * j
The laughter of some women gur-
gles forth like a geutle flowing brook
over its gravel strewn course. It is a
pleasure listen to snch a voice.
