Program and administrative responsibility for research, publications, and
communications related to this education center which produces in situ
and traveling exhibits and publications and audiovisual materials on Texas
history and culture.
DUTIES: administration of research, exhibits fabrication, records, and
physical plant departments with staff of oo employees and budget of over
$ I,ooo,ooo. Reports to President of UT San Antonio.
REQUIREMENTS: experience in supervision and administration; crea-
tive leadership for Institute programs; editing and publishing; familiarity
with media production. Doctorate in history or other appropriate field,
or evidence of distinction in the arts, literature, or history of Texas, Mexico,
and the Southwest. Knowledge of Texas history and culture.
SALARY: commensurate with background and qualifications.
