The 2000 F Flame of the AEROIL Burner
will burn out stumps cleanly and quickly
and you can go about other work while
the burner removes your stumps. Kills
moths, Boll Weevil and other insects in
the stumps at the same time.
"I have found the burner valuable in set-
.ting fire to old stumps in cotton fields
that would have furnished hibernating
places for Boll Weevils and other insects."
Texas Co-operative Ex. Service
DRAWING PLOW POINTS
The AEROIL BURNER is a handy portable
forge for bending and straignhtening
frames, bending pipes and other work.
Used especially for Drawing Plow Points.
"I would not take a great deal for my
AEROIL BURNER. The boys use it for
drawing out plow points. It is much
quicker and easier to heat the points."
A. E. Thatcher, Colorado
HUTIlNG FEED & WATER
Many times during the year, feed and
water for poultry and cattle must be
heated. The AEROIL BURNER will quicklvy
heat water or feed for this purpose, or
heat water for picking ducks or other
fowl. Can be used under your own feed
cooker.
"I heat 70 gallons of water to a boiling
point in 20 minutes from a cold start,
and we use light furnace oil, 70c worth
lasts a full day."
Big Duck Ranch, Long Island, N. Y.
BURNING PAINT
Buildings must be repainted, and the
AEROIL BURNER will burn old paint off
buildings and equipment without actual
flame even touching the surface. The ter-
rific heat precedes the flame itself by
almost a full foot. Used also to clean
concrete floors and other surfaces. It dries,
heats and disinfects at the same time.
"We have found the AEROIL BURNER
very, satisfactory to date and the- most
efficient method of cleaning our floors
and equipment. We find it especially
desirable for cleaning concrete floors."
J. S. Carver, State CollegeGophers, Prairie Dogs, Field Mice, and
other crop destroying animals that live
in the ground or in trees may be de-
stroyed more efficiently.and economically
with the AEROIL Burner, than by any
other method. Close up all the holes but
the main one, place flour of sulphur in
this main entrance, play the flame in the
hole, and the killing fumes will be forced
into all underground parts.
"Already I have been successful in rid.
ding my place of many detrimental and
destructive rodents with the AEROIL
BURNER. It is a mighty valuable instru-
ment to have around the farm."
C. Davis. California
STARTING FURNACE & STOVE FIRES,Fight Fire with Fire! Especially those in
rural districts, where forest and field fires
present a constant menace toRbuildings
and property, the AEROIL BURNER is a
most efficient weapon for starting backfires
and burning fire breaks. An AEROIL
BURNER is the best protection!
"In July of last year I purchased for the
Cherokee County Timber Protective Or.
ganization one of your burners, and I have
become convinced that it is a piece of
fire fighting equipment that we cannot
do without in this section. We may use
as many as a dozen within the next year."
District Forester, GeorgiaSIt may be of interest to you to know that we use these AEROIL Weed
Burners for heating branding irons out at the cattle roundups. Using
a trench about six or more inches deep by 9 to 12
inches wide and between 2 and 3 feet long, we
place the burner at one end of the trench and have
the required number of irons placed in
the flame. We use 6 irons and they are
heated ready for branding in a very' short
time- like a soldering iron heated by a
gasoline torch. This way of
heating is much better and
easier on irons than heating
by forge or wood fire, and
makes a clean brand'

cess flow of blood
from sheep.
S.S. Sheep Ranch,
New MexicoThe AEROIL BURNER quickly destroys the
remains of dead, fowl, cattle and other
refuse. Dead animals and fowl, even if
buried, often lead to the spread of
disease.
"The burner only arrived yesterday, but
I cremated a couple of birds with it. I
know I'll find lots of uses for it.''

Th 200F.Flameof 'he EROL Burner
is the quickest and- surest method to use
in soil sterilization. The killing heat elim-
inates weed seeds and insect eggs all at
one time. Ordinary burning of fields or
the setting of fires does not destroy seeds
slightly under the surface.
"I don't see why . . . your ads don't
advise sterilizing tobacco beds for "Blue
Molds." It costs less and is about 1000
times better."
Ley Brothers, Maryland
ROCK SPLUTTER
Sirpl pa the 20r. Fae nthe
rock surface, then dash a pail of cold
water over the rock, and it will crack to
be easily split with a sledge. Especially
valuable when rocks must be removed
close to buildings, and blasting would
be dangerous.
"I find the burner is all you claimed for
it. It is especially good for cracking rocks.
Without seeing it myself, I would not have
believed it possible."portable heat to raise the temperature in
barns and unheated buildings, or dry them
out thoroughly? The AEROIL Burner with
its' 2000 F. Flame has been used thousnds
of times for this purpose.
"The first use to which I put the torch was
to dry out the floor . . . which was very
damp, despite the fact that I had stoves
going for the past three weeks. I was
only a little over an hour getting it dry
with the torch."
.eon H. Mayo,. New Jersey
PORTABLE FORGE
High temperature of flame, where and
when you need it, makes the AEROIL
Burner an ideal portable forge for bend-
ing and straightening frames, for preheat.
ing, for welding and brazing, for bending
pipes up to 2", for heating rivets, for
horse shoeing, etc,
"I use it mainly for heating car frames
that have been bent in wrecks. Then of
course, I can straighten them."
J, Kilpatrick, New York
"We are pleased to advise you that we
had good success using your AEROIL
BURNER for heating rivets."
Lake City Coal & Ice Co., New York
ROOFING COMPOUNDS
The AEROIL BURNER wil quickly mel tar,
pitch, asphalt and other bituminous ma-
terials right in the metal containers. Ideal
for patching roofs, too, for you can
patch roof surfaces without mopping or
brushing fresh asphalt over the blister.
Will melt large quantities of lead and
sewer pipe compounds, and can be used
also to melt calking compounds out of
old pipe joints,
"I tried' out my AEROIL BURNER yester-
day, and 'am glad to say I am more
than satisfied with it. I melted caulking
joints in 4" water mains and in spite of a
strong North Wind blowing, the work was
done swiftly and easily."
A. Dori, MassachusettsAmong the many uses I have put my AEROIL Burner bought from you some time
ago, is in cutting up large stones. I thought the enclosed snapshot might interest
you, as it shows a three ton Granite boulder cut in many blocks now weighing
over fifty pounds. The fuel cost was sixty cents.Of all disinfecting methods, extreme heat
is the most certain and satisfactory. Prop-
erly applied heat will readily kill beyond
question all bacteria, virus, larvae parasites
and parasite eggs. The use of the AEROIL
WEED BURNING TORCH throwing a tem-
perature of 2000 F answershthis purpose.
Quarters to be flamed, whether they are
chicken pen, drained fish pen, hot lot, fox
pen, dog kennel, or dairy barn should
first be cleaned of all general bulky litter,
such as manure, rags, etc. The lighted torch
is slowly swept over the surface of the walls
and floor until all has been covered. Care
should be taken around inflammable posts,
etc.
Tests on the effectiveness of this pro-
cedure' show:
c. All eggs of parasites, larve, adult
parasites, germs and fungi are completely
destroyed, if on the flamed area.
2. Ordinary odors of pun, manure, mould,
and decomposition tend to disappear.
3. The combustion is so rapid and com-
plete that no smoke ordinarily is evident.
4. The moisture content of the surface
area is removed.
5. The temperature of a closed room is
incresed.
6. Balls and piles of manure should be
removed mechanically, unless the flame is
held on them for at least three minutes or
longer, as the moisture content in their
center allows the parasite eggs protection
against the heat over a shorter period.
"Have used your burner for three years.
Have been practically free from Cocci-
diosis, almost no worm trouble and general
mortality lower than ever before."
C. M. James, New York
We have used the Aeroil Burner consistently
on brooder and range brooder houses twice
a season. I am happy to tell you that we
haven't had a single case of apparent
Coccidiosis since we started that program
whereas we had quite a plenty before. Our
loss this year on 2000 chicks from all causesThere are many other uses for the torch
and a long list of disease organisms and
parasites that it will destroy could be listed.
However, it has been found satisfactory
when used around infected quarters, and a
reliable disinfectant was needed. Breeders
of hogs, poultry, dogs, fur-bearing animals,
fish hatchery men should avail themselves
of this cheap effective means of sterilizing
their premises.

our AEROIL BURNER with increasing satis-
faction to disinfect our kennel runs. We
also use it to disinfect the cow barn."

plants and stock yards, and is quicker
cleaner and more economical than any
other method.
"AEROIL BURNERS have been about the
most useful bit of equipment we own for
general maintenance, and have saved their
purchase price many times over."
Farmers' Co-op., IdahoCLEANING FLOORS
The AEROIL Burner is one tool I can't,
get along without. Formerly I was scrub-
bing and washing floors and feeders, now
it's a nice clean job to do when. using
your burner.

TEMPORARY OIL FURNACE
Th., AEROIL Burner with its 2000 F Flame
is ideal for temporary use in furnaces,
under dairy boilers, etc.
Received the AEROIL BURNER and have
tested it out and must say I am well
pleased with the way it performs, as I
have only a temporary furnace at present.
I have some high speed steel to harden.
M. H., PennsylvaniaThe AEROIL Burner is certainly a handy
tool around the estate. It has so many
uses that it is quite indispensable on the
place. The men find it suitable for so
many things and quite often adapt it to
some new purpose. Its uses are just too
many to list here.
J. H. W., Illinois
KILLS FUNGUS
The AEROIL Burner I purchased from you
last year has proven very effective in com-
bating fungus diseases on the coffee finca,
and now seems indispensable around the
place for the hundred and one uses I
have found for it.
Finca luka, PanamaThe 2000 F. Flame of the AEROIL BURNER
rTnakes this outfit the ideal thawing torch
for thawing frozen pipes, pumps, scales,
switches, outdoor farm equipment . . .
in fact, relieves any frozen condition any-
where. Thaws frozen ground, culverts,
leaders and gutters, also.''I have used this AEROIL OUTFIT every
Winter to thaw out frozen coal cars, and
find that with it, I can unload a frozen
car in two hours as compared to 5 or 6
hours formerly required using other
methods."
Frank H. Mayer, New YorkAll you need to turn cactus pear into
a healthy food for cattle is a . . .
fire gun (Weed Burner). The cactus singes
readily and may be fed at once when
they are most palatible, and easiest
eaten, or they may be stored in piles
or bins. Molding or heating giveslittle
trouble unless the cactus is unduly wet,
or is piles over six feet deep.
The writer has on sandy loam lands . . .
put up 3000 lbs. of this feed to the
acre, carefully weighed and measured.
I feed to sheep 4 pounds, milch coys
25 lbs., and horses, 10 to 20 lbs. For
sheep the plants must be broken up
when in the spine. Care must be taken
to singe spines off thoroughly.
I use on the average of six gallons of
water white distillate fuel to the ton of
singed feed.
Judged by results, I should place cactus
hay from our Northern Engleman Cactus
as equal to good alfalfa pound for
pound, if balanced by a good protein
supplement. It is high in carbohydrate
and carrys fair fat and protein. Its
succulence makes the Winter watering
problem an easier one. It maintains milk
flow of an excellent sweetness and rich-
ness. Our stock has subsisted on this all
Winter. Horses grow sleek 'on it. Sheep
grow fat and grow a heavy fleece.

We burn' the spines off Cactus Pears
with an AEROIL Burner so it makes
them edible for food. The pears don't
burn, they stay nice and green and Aa
good vegetable for cattle feed. As soon
as the flame strikes the pears the spines
burn like straw. The Cactus Pears make
the cows here give much more quantities
of milk.

SAFEOUTDOORS
An inexperienced operator can use the
AEROIL No. 94 BURNER safely indoors
as well as outdoors, in any kind of
weather. The flame is as easily controlled
as a garden hose.
"I believe that as soon as the rank and
file of the men in the industry (poultry
raising) realize the comparative safety
with which the AEROIL BURNER can be
used about their buildings, it will be a
mighty welcome addition to their equip-
ment."
