were married in Clovis, New

Mr. and Mrs. Buster Fails of
Portales, New Mexico, visited
with the Gerald Pistoles this
week-end.
Warrant Officer Bill Woodard,
who is stationed at Fort Hood,
and family, visited Sunday,
Monday and Tuesday in the E.
J. Woodard home.
Weldon Benham, Montrose,
Colorado, is visiting here with
Mr. and Mrs. Lock Seal, Gerald
Pistole, and Tate Timmons.
Rev. R. C. Nixon was called
the new year's work. The family
was entertained in the James
Terry home Sunday. They visit-
ed in the afternoon with Mr.
and Mrs. J. C. Mizzles and Mr.
and Mrs. Oscar Kennedy.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Allen,
W. M. Allen Jr., and Mrs Mau-
rice Trigg of Childress visited
Sunday in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Jones. Patricia and
David Jones returned home with
them to visit this week.

Friday were Troy Riddell, Don
Potter, Jerry Bostick, Bobby

onded to make another friend-
ship quilt to be auctioned off at
the Haloween carnival. Mrs.
Bud Bumpus directed the games.

ard, T. A. Riddell, Tulles Pistole,
D. W. Ridell, Donad Smith, Rob-
ert Bostick, Pete Bumpus, Donald
Monson, Tate Timmons, Gerald
Pistole, W. T. Blair, Floyd Finch,
Bud Bumpus, Arnold Smith, Les-
lie Carrick and the hostess.

Mrs. Oscar Kennedy has been
in the hospital in Wellington for
major surgery. Mrs. Kennedy is
home and doing nicely.
Mrs. Carl Pritchard surprised
her husband Wednesday night
with an ice cream supper in
honor of his 47th birthday. Those
enjoying this occasion were Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Jones and chil-
dren, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Hor-
ton, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Riddell
and daughters, Mr. and Mrs.
Bud Bumpus, Mr. and Mrs. T. A.
Riddell and family, the honoree
and hostess. Forty-two was en-
joyed throughout the evening.

at: the home of Mr. and Mrs.
