OCTOBER, 1954
In October, the normal rainfall in Fort Bend County is 3 1/2
inches, and is 3 to 3 1/2 inches in Grimes County. In October, 1954
we expect below normal rainfall, with less than 1/2 of normal rain
for the month, By comparison, 1 to 2 inches below normal rain was
experienced in Fort Bend County in October last season, and was
normal to an inch below normal in Grimes County,
Temperatures are expected to average moderately to well abcve
normal during October, 1954, and considerably warmer than with the
near normal average temperatures experienced It both bounties in
October of last season.
NOVEMBER, 1954
In November, the normal rainfall is 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches through
most of Fort Bend County, and is 4 to 4 1/4 inches generally through
Grimes County, In November, 1954 we expect very light rainfall, with
accumulations of 2 inches or less through these two Counties of inter-
est. By comparison, last November rain totaled 1 to 3 inches above
normal in Fort Bend County and normal to moderately below in Grimes
County,
Temperatures are expected to average a little above normal in
November, 1954. Large fluctuations in temperatures should occur but
the warm spells will be more outstanding than the cold spells as
compared to normal for this time of the year, By comparison, last
November temperatures were normal to a little below normal.
DECEMBER 1954
In December, the normal rainfall is 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 inches gener-
ally through all of Fort Bend and Grimes Counties, In December, 1954
