houses was reported Friday to police
who sought a suspent seen carrying
a bathtub from a house at 1712 Hall

Police were told the thief and his
companion posing as plumbers, load-
ed the bathtub into a truck and drove
away.
Attention was called to the fact

Charles Ray, sales manager of
the Graham Livestock Auction, re-
ported a big sale Thursday after-
noon, the receipts being twice the
iimount for the preceding week. The
increase was chiefly in cattle, though
a large number of hogs were sold
during the afternoon as well. Prices
were good, reflecting the current
rise in the market.
M. H. Vick sold 27 head of calves
at $30.50 each and a white face
bull for $67.00. Royce Goldston of
Graham brought in a truck load of
cows with calves which sold at
$58.50; Wirth Gregg of Bunger sold
a truck load of choice Hereford
calves at $36.50 each; and Roy Roach
of Olney sold a load of Stocker cat-
tle at $65.00 each.
Other sellers during the afternoon
