THE GRASS BURR
FAN MAIL FOR SANTA . .
Dear Santa Claus,
I have tried my best to be a good
little girl this year. I don’t want
much, only a head of long black cur-
ly hair that I don’t have to worry
about fixing. So please dear Santa,
pity me and cooperate.
Wistfully yours,
Norma Johnson
Dear Santa,
I’ve been the best little girl you’ve
ever seen this past year. I’ve never
lost my temper, not even once, and
that’s quite a while for a red head.
So please answer my plea. Please
help my private in France to get a
furlough over the Christmas holi-
days. Patiently awaiting,..
Billye Jo Jackson
Santa, ole boy!
Will you please send me C.O.D. a
little dolly with long fluttering
black eyelashes and long black curls
and also a convertible to take her
riding in.
Respectfully yours,
((Until Christmas)
James Shaw
Dear Santa,
I’ve tried to be a good girl and on
account of that I won't ask for much.
Just a few small gifts and a MAN
preferably cute. Here’s hoping,
Imogene Dane
Dear Santa,
Well, you know what I want, so
I won’t say anything more.
Lovingly (until Xmas)

P. S. All right, so her initials are

little brown eyed brunette, namely
Anne Stewart.
Thanks very much, Santa,
Marion McCarthy
My Dearest Santa,
If you only knew what a sweet
little girl I am and have been all
year, you will surely send what I
want. Please Santa just send a cer-
tain sailor (namely James Reed)
home on furlough over the Christ-
mas holidays. Sincerely,
Bobby Lou Smart
Dear Santa,
Please bring me a bundle of hap-
piness—named Jimmy Swearingin.
This is all I want. Is this asking too
much of you?
Patiently waiting,
Dorothy Driver
Dear Santa Claus,
I’m a sweet little boy and have

(color of convertible optional).
Thanks, Tommy Hardegree
