A warm welcome at Calvary
Baptist Church, always, and a
place of service for everyone.
We had a good Vacation Bible
School this past week, with a
total enrollment of 102. Those
attending enough days to receive
a certificate, total 97. We ap-
preciate the workers who work
ed faithfully each day. This
school had an offering of $16.30
for our foreign missions.
Bro. Conn brought a good
message Sunday. Thank the
Lord, the people of Calvary
Baptist Church are having a
greater vision. A short time
back, our church voted to give
15 per cent of all money coming
into the church to seven phases
of our work, and God Is bless-
ing us abundantly for it. In the
month of May, alone, we have
given over $20 to each of these
seven phases of work, a special
offering of $100 to State Mis-
sions, bought and paid for a $176
Baptistry heater, a $300 repair
job on our parsonage, Improve-
ments on our nursery, and a
special collection of $175 for
Foreign Missions. Calvary Bap-
tist Church is on the upward
march, for the honor and glory
of God, that we might do great-
er things lor his cause.
