AUXILIARY AND
LEGION ENJOY
THANKSGIVING SUPPER
A very enjoyable Thanksgiving
supper was held at the Legion Hall
Monday evening, when the members
of the Legion Auxiliary were hos-
tesses to their families and the
American Legion and their families.
Two long tables were attractively
decorated with low bowls of chry-
santhemums. A typical Thanksgiv-
ing menu of turkey, dressing, pump-
kin pie, and other tempting dishes,
was served buffet style.
Following the supper games of
checkers and progressive 42 were
played until a late hour.
Committees responsible for the
party" were: Decorations—Mrs. Ar-
thur Hubbard; Entertainment—Mrs.
S. S. Sutton. The American Legion
Supper—Mrs. George Fore and Mrs.
O. E. Duey and Mrs. W. W. Martin.
Tht American Legion post
generously gave assistance in send
ing out invitations and in givine
up its regular meeting in order that
the party be held on that night.
About 50 members and guests
were present.
