AT FORT WORTH—Air views on this page reveal strides that CRA has accom-
plished at Fort Worth, San Diego and Pomona. Above is annotated aerial of
FW's 80-acre tract, acquired in September, 1955. Below are ground views. Ex-
tensive development was cooperative effort with much of labor volunteer. Club-
house, 12,000 square feet, cost $165,000, was built by contractor. FW folk,
however, helped build roads, barbecue pits, stone fences, boat landings, stables.

AT SAN DIEGO—Not as far along in permanent facilities, but coming up fast,
CRA at SD now has two tracts for permanent recreation. At left above is aerial
of acreage overlooking Gillespie Field with completely equipped trap and skeet
ranges and more abuilding. At right above is new "Pecan Park" just east of San
Diego which will be ready for picnics this spring, with "cook shack" for large
gatherings and individual barbecue pits for family picnics. SD already is con-
sidering acquiring further acreage. Also at SD, Astronautics Division will have
considerable acreage for recreation facilities adjacent to new plant.

AT POMONA—Seven-acre field near Pomona plant has progressed steadily
and is culmination of long-range plan begun five years ago. New clubhouse,
recently completed, supplements facilities of old clubhouse. Area includes three
championship tennis courts, softball diamonds, archery, horseshoes, etc.
