With the Holiday Season just around the comer, thousands upon
thousands of persons are mapping plans for special trips away from
home.
Advance indications, based on spot checks of railroads and travel
agencies, point to the possibility that a record number of parents intend
to take their children with them on their forthcoming out-of-town
excursions.
For these youngsters, the Holiday Season started the moment they
heard that a trip was in the offing. Parents also anticipate the trip be-
cause family travel no longer is complicated. It has
and enjoyable.
pat________,
cause family travel no longer is complicated. It has been made easy
nd enjoyable.
Whether parents have a Pullman section, a bedroom, or a compart-
ment, there is plenty of room for the children to stretch their legs and
play. In addition, the porter will provide a table, which boys and girls
can use as a play surface, or pillows for small tired heads.
Porters are carefully trained to anticipate the needs of children as
well as adults. They will even keep the baby’s bottles in a refrigerator
and heat them when needed.
Travel by Pullman this Holiday Season will bo a pleasure for fami-
lies because every effort has been made to provide them with all of
the comforts and conveniences of home.
Larry plays trombone in the
bund. He has attended the
Stephenville Clinic for two
years. He holds two medals for
regional entries, one for his
work in a brass sextet during
freshman year and the other
for trombone quartet work last
year. He was selected as fourth
chair trombone in the Regional
Band just this month.
