Mickey Cooper
Republican Candidate for
Rains County Judge
Order in the Court
I have visited at length with many Rains County Citizens and listened to
their concerns about the administration of our Criminal. Civil, and Probate
Court system under the direct control of the Rains County Judge.
Many of you, who remember my background from the 1970's and 80's,
knowithat I established a record of prompt and efficient management of the
Justice of the Peace Court Docket during my ten years ot service to Rains
County.
The person who represents us as the Rains County Judge must be well
trained, flexible, and willing to hold docket calls on a regular and frequent
basis. Trials must be held in a timely manner and cannot be reset time and
time again, thus leading to gridlock in the Court Docket.
A Rains County Judge who is willing to stay abreast of state mandated
training and expects prompt and timely action in our local judicial system
will save many citizens, attorneys, jurors, victims and defendants thousands
of hours in lost or wasted time each year.
I have run an efficient Justice Court in Rains County and I pledge to you
the voter that I can and will run an efficient County Court System in Rains
County.
You can bring these positive changes about by electing me as your next
Rains County Judge.
Thank you for your consideration and vote.
