20 New Locations 10 Completii
Filed For Levelland Area Oil Fii
During the past seven days 20
new locations and 16 new com-
pletions in the Levelland area
were reported to the oil and gas
division of the Railroad Commis-
sion of Texas. This is a decrease
of seven new locations and an in-
crease of five new completions
from last week’s total.
Applications were filed for 16
new projects in Cochran County.
One amended application was re-
ported. Hockley County gained
four new drillsites and one amend-
ed application.
Cochran County had nine of the
newly completed wells. The Lev-
elland field had eight and the Lan-
don field one.
The Hockley County side of the
Levelland field reporter three new
producer.. The Smyer field of
Hockley County reported two new
completions and the Slaughter
Le Id one.
The Antor.-Ir.sh field added one
new producer in Lamb County.

of 32 gravity oiL Total fluid re-
covered was cut with 10 per cent

The pay formation at 4,986-4,990
feet was treated with 7,000 gal-
lons of acid.
Star Oil Compiany made a 24-
hour potential of 162.4 barrels of
oiL This was based on the actual
pumping production during six
hours. Gravity of the oil was not

Grappe-Denton Inc. of Level-
land No. 1-A C. S. Dean made a
24-hour potential of 176,64 barrels
of 30 gravity oil. This was based
on the actual pumping production
during six hours. No water was
present. Gas-oil ratio was 107-1.
The pay zone was between 4,943
feet and 4,995 feet and was treat-
ed with 15,000 gallons of acid.

made a daily initial production of CSL survey.

Rainbow Girls Give
Bake Sole Saturday
Rainbow Girls have announced
a “Bake Sale” Saturday, June 11
at the Petty and Davis food stores.
Proceeds from the sales will go
into the fund to furnish transpor-
tation for the girls attending the
Grand Assembly of Texas at
Houston this summer.
Mrs. Quentin Morris, Mother
Advisor of the Levelland chapter,
made the announcement and said
that the girls would have'all ^orta
of baked goods on hand, including
candy, cakes, pies end cookies.
