Quilt Show in Luling
• Luling's Main Street organi-
zation will host a quilt show on
Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m., just prior to the annual
Night In Old Luling celebration
that evening. Both events take
place in the historic downtown
on Davis Street. Quilters and quilt
collections are invited to show
their old or new creations. Invit-
ing everyone who enters to in-

• This collection campaign pro-
vides rural areas the same recy-
