The IntM'sc holistic League!
ot Mineola High School
contests will be held in the first
part of April. Now is the time
for students to start preparing
for the various forms of com-
petition. Last year we waited
until the last minute and con-
sequently did not take as many
first places as we should have
taken.
Here are some of the events
and the teachers who will be
coaching students for each of
them:
Typing and shorthand—Mrs.
Green
Ex t cm pora neous speech—Mrs.
Willis
Declamation Mrs. Moody
Pot- iv Reading Mrs. Jen-
nings
e.; Line. F'.ain Writing, and
Track — Coach Sloan
If you are interested in any
of these, get in touch with one .
or more of these teachers ini- I
mediately. Let's all get busy and
win the Interseholastic League
contests this year for our
school. The more people we have
out for all the events the bet-
ter chancg we have of winning.
You may find that you have
some talent you never had even
thought of.

stretch of beach on the Riviera, but it is a welcome refuge from
the bitter cold of a worst-in-years winter in Europe. City offi-
