Curtain To
Rise At 8:00 PM
A six foot carrot and a twenty
pound potato are products of
“Green - Valley”. In the comedy
fantasy, this year’s senior play to
be given Thursday and Friday
nights, May 5 and 6, at 8:00, no-
thing is impossible. Even spirits
put the “noose” on the neck of a
greedy land owner.
Miss Beth Kayser, director, ex-
plains, “This is not just the usual
play in which every girl wears a
gorgeous formal in the third act,
but this promises to be one of the
most fascinating and best staged
productions even given in Weath-
erford.”
Student tickets may be pur-
chased from any senior for 350
until Thursday noon. Tickets at
the door will be 400, students, 600
The “men” behind the scenes
are the members of the Senior
Play who make the show a real
pleasure both to be audience and
actors. These crew member get the
blame if the actor is not there at
the exact moment, or if the sound
effects do not “sound.” A special
thanks we) give to the stage man-
agers, Danney Davis and Pete
Cash, and the prompters, Shirley
Light and Ellen Gay MacNelly,
who worked both casts (approxi-
mately 5 hours a day.) Your work
is appreciated more than you’ll
ever know.
