FIFTH STREET
BAPTIST CHURCH
Dear Church Member:
1 would like to take this
means to visit in each
home of our
membership. As you
probably are already
aware, our church is
currently without a
pastor, but hopefully not
without leadership. The
Holy Spirit has been and
will continue to be our
leader, and 1 hope we will
place even more
dependence on Him in the
days to come.
On September 2, we
will begin a study in our
Sunday School, which I
am praying is going to be
extremely beneficial to
our people. I am not
much on numbers as far
as competition goes;
basically I could care
less what number
another church has in
Sunday School. My
concern is Fifth Street
and “Giving God the
Glory’’ I am personally
asking for some
sacrifices to be made on
September 2. This is a
holiday weekend when
many folks plan to be out
of town. I am asking you
to be in town that
particular Sunday and
let’s have 225 in Sunday
School. The Lord
impressed me with this
figure, otherwise, I
would have chosen a
smaller, easier to reach
goal. Be in your place on
this Sunday and let’s
“Give God the Glory.”
Let me urge you to
continue to pray in our
seeking God’s will for
our church.
I look forwa rd to
s eeing y ou Sunday.
Yours in His Service
