F-111F Three of the December scheduled aircraft have been
accepted by the Air Force. Aircraft No. 24 has
been assigned as the production aircraft for a two-week Air Force prelim-
inary evaluation at Edwards AFB.
F-llA FATIGUE As of November 24, the F-IlIA airframe fatigue
TESTING test had completed the equivalent of four service
lives. The wing component has been tested to the
equivalent of six service lives.
BORON First flight of Aircraft No. 79 equipped with the
HORIZONTAL boron horizontal stabilizers was made at Nellis
STABILIZERS AFB on November 22. Three flights had been made
through November 30. The second ship set is ex-
pected to be installed on Aircraft No. 81 on December 13.
CHRISTMAS The annual Christmas season dance for members of
DANCE supervision and members of the Management Associa-
tion will be held from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on
Saturday, December 18, in the Sheraton-Fort Worth Hotel. Admission is by
non-transferable invitation which will be mailed December 10. The doors
will be open at 8:00 p.m. Set-ups will be furnished.F-111 GENERAL
EMPLOYMENTAs of November 28, F-111 aircraft had flown a
total of 49,670 flights and had accumulated 130,866
hours of flight time.
As of November 29, total employment was 12,683.R. E. Adams
