State University, and received
the Bachelor of Science, Mas-
ters and Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine degrees from Texas
A&M University. She has prac-
ticed in Dallas and Metairie,
Louisiana. The groom is a grad-
uate of Pecan Gap High School
and is a veteran of the Viet Nam
conflict. He is self-employed in
dairying, farming and ranching
in Delta and Fannin Counties.
The bridegroom's parents
hosted a dinner at the Univer-
sity Inn. Commerce, following
the rehearsal Friday evening,

We had fun playing bingo last
Tuesday afternoon. We need
volunteers to help some of the
residents play.
Gilbert Sansing enjoyed going
around the block again last
Friday. He enjoyed is time
out-of-doors.
Several ladies toured the
flower shop of Mrs. Poe Wed-
nesday. Refreshments of cake
and candy were enjoyed and
each residents was given a red
carnation.
We will have the July birth-
day party Friday, July 9. Ladies
of the Klondike Baptist Church
will sponsor the event. Those
having birthdays are Oma
Bailey, Julia Foster, Susie Ker-
bow, Mary Simpson, Thelma
Watson and Vickie Cline.
We are planning a water-
melon party and an ice cream
party for sometime in the near
future. Plans will be announced
later.
The Sunshine Gospel Singers
came Saturday night. Bro. Best
also sang two numbers and
refreshments were served to a
large crowd.

East Delta Baptist Church,
preached Sunday afternoon.

On the altar table was a large
arrangement of heather, pink
and rose daisy mums, white
mums and babs’s breath. On
either side, were tall baskets of
palm greenery tied with orchid
satin bows, and two brass,
twelve-branched candlebras.
The bride wore a Victorian-
style, tea-length dress with a
deep yolk bordercu witn a wide
ruffle and lace. She carried a
colonial bouquet of carnations,
daisy mums, and baby’s breath.
