JUNIOR-SENIOR ENTERTAIN-
MENT
Il has been the custom for a num-
ber of years for the Junior Class oi
B. H. S. to entertain the Seniors.
This event is arrays looked for-
ward to by both classes with much
pleasure. No efforts are spared by
the Juniors to make their entertain-
ment a success.
The class this year, of which Vir-
gil .Wilson .is president, chose to
show the Seniors' that they could
“act well their part” by interpret-
ing for them tho “The" Kivvered
Waggin” and “The Bat”.
It^was evident from the hearty ap-
plause that each one did act well his
part and his effort* were appreciated
to the fullest extent. After the plays
a delicious salad course was served
in the long hall in the basement of
the High
guests.
A very lovely five course lunch-
eon served at one o’clock on Sat-
urday by Mesdnmcs Zac Smith and
Sam Meade at the home of the for-
on West Fifth street. The hon-
at this most charnfing func-
was Miss Helen Evahs, whose
ringc to Mr.' Herbert BVow was
•renounced nt n delightful \dinner
given by Miss Ellen Campbell at the
Golf Club a few day* ago.
The hnndsome mahogany /table
was laid with Venietan point lace
complementing the appointments of
cut glass and silver.
The dainty color scheme of silver,
gold <vnd blue was most artistically
cnrried’but in the decorations. These
TTrc fbe colors' Of Tri-Delta sorority,
of which the bride-to-be is a mem-
ber and also the colors which she
is to favor in her wedding.
The center-piece was an exquisite
blue bowl of silver, gold and blue
ferjjB.juftf berries. Attached to the
silver light fixture above was a
charming, “Loverls Knot” of blue
tulle showered with Silver ribbon
and fem sprays, combined with gold
tulle streamers which fell softly to
the center.
Place cards with dainty sprays of
orange blossoms named places for
twelve guests. A* favors a rnina-
ture bridal party was assembled.
For the bride-to-be an adorable bride
'and her two fairy like flower girls,
| for each of the other guests a
.bridesmaid attired, in gowns of sil-
iver and gold cloth and blue tulle.
