held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday,
June 10, 2003 at Cactus Drive
Church of Christ with Bob Odell,
elder, officiating.

Robert L. Johnson, 37, of
Morton.
He passed away Monday,
June 9, 2003 in Arlington.
Services are under the
direction of Head Family Funeral
Home.
Two Seadoos
being raffled
A benefit raffle to help raise
money for the Stash Stroud Heart
Transplant Fund is continuing.
Miss Stroud is awaiting a
heart transplant.
Tickets are being sold for two
1997 Seadoo personal watercraft
with trailer. Tickets are $ 10 each
and may be purchased at Matinee
Video Rentals or by calling 894-
1742 or 638-6455.
The Seadoos can be seen in
the Gentry Square Shopping
Center Parking Lot.
The drawing for the two
Seadoos will be held July 19.

in Nocona Cemetery with C.E.

She died at 10:35 a.m.,
Monday, June 9, 2003 at her
home. Death was ruled natural
causes by Justice of the Peace,
Jerry Boudreaux.
She was bom on July 21,
1929 in Prairie Valley.
She moved to Levelland in
1974 from Denver City and had
previously lived in Sundown.
She was married to W.B.
Magee on May 27, 1947 in
Henrietta.
She was preceded in death by
her husband on May 8, 1983.
She was'a member of the
Cactus Drive Church of Christ in
Levelland. She volunteered as a
pink lady'at what was Methodist
Hospital in Lubbock for many
years. She loved to oil paint. At
the time of her husband’s death,
she established a scholarship at
South Plains College in his
memory.
She is survived by a daughter
and son-in-law, Beverly Funnell
and Greg Funnell of Richland,
Washington and a granddaughter,
Amy Lauren Howe of Oklahoma
City, OK.

Hammons Funeral Home in

officiating.
Bunal followed at Resthaven

the direction of Hammons
Funeral Home of Littlefield.
He passed away at 5.30 a.m.,
June 8, 2003 at Care Inn of
Plainview.
He was bom March 6, 1909
in Cottle County, TX.
He married Bertha Elizabeth
Allen on March 24, 1930 in
Fredrick, OK They lived in
Paducah area for twelve years.
They moved to Spade community
in 1942 and then to Littlefield in
1984. He was a member of First
Baptist Church in Spade and
active in Senior Citizens.
He was preceded in death by
his wife on April 29, 2003.
He is survived by two sons,
Joe Mote of Plainview and Coy
Mote of Levelland, five
grandchildren: Cindy Eason, Pam
