great job in that regard.”
With a much-larger in-
ventory of new and used ve-
hicles, Joey said his sales are
pretty much evenly split be-
tween new Chevrolets and
used vehicles, attributing the
increase in pre-owned buy-
ing to warranties available
on pre-certified vehicles.
“We were always more
than a new car store,” Joey
said. “There are great deals
on pre-owned vehicles that
are perfect for anything
you’re looking for - a teen-
ager’s first vehicle, a com-
muter vehicle, or just some-
thing that gets better mileage
than what you drive now.”
August has been a great
month for the dealership,
which is something Joey
attributes to the new 2014
Chevrolet Silverado, which
has been revamped for the
first time in a decade.

Joey Luttrull has been
a part of the Sanger com-
munity for ten years since
purchasing Luttrull-McNatt
Chevrolet in March of 2003,
and now, he’s happy to in-
vite people out to see the
complete remodeling of the
dealership located across
the highway from Migueli-
to’s in Sanger.
“This place was origi-
nally built in 1986 when it
was Hilz-Snider Chevrolet,
and we really needed to do
something here to renovate
it,” Joey said. “It’s been
a huge project and every-
thing has been redone, and
it really does look like a new
place.”
Keeping things local, a
Sanger construction com-
pany undertook the renova-
tions, which feature a new
showroom and renovated
parts and service depart-
ment that features a sitting
area with a flat-screen TV,
new lighting, furnishings,
and signage inside and out,
and revamped office space.
“I’m really happy with
it,” Joey said. “It’s a com-
pletely different place and is
just really comfortable. We’d
love for people to come out
and see us.”

The home of Terry Pyron caught fire n Friday night by a short in a light switch. The 122 year old house, locat-
ed at 4736 Lois Road in Sanger, was engulfed in flames within minutes and was a complete iss. The 22-acre
property is owned by Greta Miller. The Pyron family has lived in the house for over five years and lost every-
thing. There are two ways to help them: A car wash is being held and a benefit account has been set up.
2002. It’s the first major re-
do of the truck since then.
There was nothing wrong
with the 2013 - it was just
time for a new one. The new
2014 truck is absolutely the
best truck we’ve ever built.

Luttrull-McNatt Chevrolet in Sanger
completes renovation, expands inventory
for the renovation, and Joey
has also doubled the size of
his new car inventory.
“When you look at the
growth, it was what made
the decision for the remod-
eling so we could get where
we need to be,” Joey said.
“When you look at every-
thing on the north side of
Denton, with it booming like
it’s booming, it was an easy
decision to make. There’s
so much vacant retail space
that’s been filled in north
Denton and in Sanger. Just
looking at Sanger, there’s a
center over by McDonald’s
that sat empty during the
recession, but now it’s got
Gage Dental and Anytime
Fitness, and retail space in
Sanger is becoming harder
to come by.”
Joey credits both the
City of Sanger and Sanger
Independent School District
for their managed growth
plans, and talked with
Sanger City Manager Mike
Brice before embarking on
his renovation.
“The city is spending
money to renovate and
replace roads, and to ex-
tend and repair sewer lines,
which is something I believe
needs to be done. I think the
city is much more organized
today towards growth than
they ever have been. I think
we’ve got a good council, a
good mayor, and I think we
have a good city manager.
The school district has done
a tremendous job and has
had enough forethought to
have enough facilities put
together that they can with-
stand the student growth,”
Joey said. “Sanger is poised
to explode. Trying to facili-
tate growth, and doing that
in a fiscally sensible way, is
the goal. There’s nothing
that can be done about the
growth except to manage it
well, and both the city and
school district have done a
