Sherry Lyim Walters Raffety
Sherry Lynn Walters Raffety passed away August 21,
2013, at her home in Mesa, Arizona. She was born Decem-
ber 9, 1955, in Denton, Texas, to Bobby Dan and Jeanette
Smith Walters. She was a 1973 graduate of Thomas Jeffer-
son High School in Dallas, TX and was a Medical Assistant
in Mesa, AZ.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Raffety of Mesa,
AZ, daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Wade of North
Carolina, son and daughter-in-law, Hunter and Shelley Raf-
fety of Salt Lake City, Utah, mother, Jeanette Walters of
Corinth, Texas, her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and
Peggy Walters of Sanger, Texas, and two grandchildren,
Scarlette and Julian Raffety. She is preceded in death by her
father, Dan Walters.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday,
August 31 at Landmark Baptist Church in Sanger with Pas-
tors Bruce Chamberlain and Larry Driver officiating. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to the National Fibro-
myalgia Association. Condolences may be expressed online
at www.mariposagardens.com.

Camilia L. McMackin, age 66 of Sanger, TX passed
away Monday, August 19, 2013. She was born on October
8, 1946 in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of the
late Dorothy Mulliniks and George Little.
Camilia (also known as “Cam” by her family & friends) away on Monday, August 19, 2013 in Denton,
worked at FEMA in Denton, TX as a Case Worker for the Mr. James proudly served his country as a Sargent in
last 17 years. She attended college at TCJC and Devry Uni- the US Army during the Korean

14th annual event, ‘Arts,
Antiques & Autos Extrav-
aganza’ on Saturday, Sep-
tember 14 from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. around the square and
beyond.
This classic, custom,
and hot rod car and motor-
cycle show is complete with
live music, fine arts/crafts,
antique appraisals, chalk
art, kids’ firn and more.
A silent auction featur-
ing great downtown mer-
chandise and other finds is
held inside the courthouse
during the event with bid-
ding starting at 9 a.m. and
open until 2 p.m.
Antique appraisers will
provide you information on
general antiques (no furni-
ture), art, clocks, cut glass,
silver and jewelry. Apprais-
als are done in various store
locations and tickets are $5/
item or $10 for 3 items.
There is a art contest
and artists can enter in ad-
vance of the show and their
artwork will be displayed
leading up to and at the
show in some downtown lo-
cations.
Chalk Fest is making a
comeback this year, too. The
chalk firn will take place on
West Oak Street northside
sidewalks. It will be a fantas-
tic display to stroll through
during the event and for
days after the fun.
This year the public
will have the chance to vote
on some whimsical awards
naming the Best "Family
Truckster", Best "Drive-In
Movie Car", Best "Work in
Progress", Best "Mid-Life
Crisis Car" and "This Car
Never Looked This Good
When New" award.
