CURTIS TRIVITT, left, Senior Vice President at CoServ En-
ergy, met with Richard Muir, President of the Sanger Lions
Club, after speaking to the Lions Club at their Wednesday
meeting. Trivitt explained about various aspects of energy
generation, transmission and usage. He discussed the
difference between peak and nonpeak energy demands,
and gave hints for how homeowners could save on their
electric bills. The Sanger Lions Club meets at the Sanger
Community Center at noon on the first and third Wednes-
days except that the July holiday schedule will cause them
to meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays in July.
The weekly deadline to submit news articles, photos, and let-
ters to the editor is each Tuesday at 10 a.m. Items accepted
after the deadline will be published only as time and space
permit. Publication of all items is at the sole discretion of the
publisher. The weekly deadline to submit display advertising is
each Monday at 5 p.m. The weekly deadline to submit a classi-
fied ad is each Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The Sanger News is published weekly, each Thursday, by
Lemons Publications Inc. Subscriptions are $23 per year for
