about as deeply as any aspect
of publio. life. Any activity
Bad responsibility which ha*
this much interest will find
people with differing idea*
about how the affairs should be
conducted. This is inevitable,
normal and natural.
The important thing is not
whether there is a difference of
opinion, but the atmosphere in
which those differences are ex-
pressed. To disagree without
being disagreeable is a fine art '
which a fine community prac-

Burleson has already had its

date the vast growth of what [
was formerly a little town but
is now

Worth demanded some rapid
adjustment. It was not easy
to make. The point is that these
adjustments had to be made,
that they have now been made,
and the ‘school system is grow-

10-AA title last Friday at Elk Stadium by scoring 180
points to Lake Worth’s 14514, Axle’s 110^, Northwest’s
77, Grapevine’s 31, and Mansfield's 10. '
The Junior Elks were able to register points in all
sixteen events. In many events more than one Burle-
son participant placed among the top six in dstrict com-
petition. This display of depth enabled the Junior
High squad to win the title their first year of AA com-
competition.
