Carl Griggs issues candidacy
election statement
Griggs said, “you should not
have to lose a half day's time,
plus a round trip to the County
Seat.."
Griggs stated he would work
with all businesses and indi-
viduals with problems that
would come under his juris-
diction.
“I feel anyone receiving a
citation," Griggs said,“should
be treated with the same re-
spect and no partiali ly shown. ”
Griggs stated that he felt that
there should be no charge to
perform a marriage ceremony
when the license is purchased
in Jones County and per-
formed during regular busi-
ness hours. “This should be a
public service,” Griggs said.
“Your vote and influence
will be appreciated.”
