HERZIK
for City Aiderman Place 3
May 5, 2018
I, Ben Herzik, am asking for your vote & support in the race for Aider-
man Place 3 on the Schulenburg City Council.
As a 3rd generation resident (son of Alan Herzik and Patti Neisner
and grandson of the late Leon and Zeta Herzik), and current business
owner in Schulenburg, TX it is my honor and privilege to run for City
Council. I was born and raised in Schulenburg and graduated from
Schulenburg High School in 1997. After high school, I attended Blinn
College in Brenham and then San Antonio College in San Antonio where
I earned my Fire Science, EMT and Hazmat Certificates. I volunteered
for the Helotes Fire Department. After graduating, I spent the next 15
years in Houston. My wife, Kristin Herzik, and I decided to move back
to Schulenburg with our two boys, Caden and William, and made it our
permanent residence. We couldn’t think of a better place to live and
raise our boys than Schulenburg. As a fellow resident, father and native
Schulenburger, I know that you, like myself, are focused on the future of
our town. I hope you will give me the chance to serve our community
and the residents who call Schulenburg home!
