Running Water Show May
Be The Very Best One Ever
The 32nd annual Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts Festival
will be Oct. 20, 21, and 22 at the Ollie Liner Center in Plainview
This year the show is filling up the building with new and exciting
arts and crafts from exhibitors from a five state area Sixty percent
of these exhibitors have never shown their wares m the Running
Water Draw show
Crafts on display will include wood craft, potpourri, fleece
thrown blankets, jewelry, crosses, birdhouses, antler lamps, decora-
tive gourds, clothing, ornamental iron works, pottery', hair bows,
purses, scrapbooking. Christmas ornaments, floral, candles, pup-
pets. mglithglits, photography, paintings, ceramics, leatherwork, dog
accessories, wooden baskets, scroll saw pictures, baby items, por-
celain paintings and many other items to shop for yourself or give as
great gifts.
There will also be gourmet booths scattered throughout with
baked goods, homemade candies, caramel com. soups, sweet and
spicy sauces, gift baskets, beef jerky and microwave pork rinds The
concession stand this year will be operated by Plainview 4-H They
will also be taking up canned goods or donations for FI S H Please
plan to help them in this project Running Water Draw will again
host a silent auction with donations from exhibitors to be bid on
during the show
, At 4 p m Sunday the highest bidder on each item is allowed to
purchase that item. This gives you a chance to get bargains as well
as having fun outbidding the previous bidder! Proceeds from this
silent auction go to the Llano Estacado Museum and Wayland Uni-
versity Mass Communications Department Plainvew Rotary' Club
is sponsor of Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts Show, and they
also sponsor the Taste of Home Cooking School on Thursday night
proceeding the craft show which starts on Friday Oct 20 at 10 a m
Admission to the show is $2 for adults and $ 1 for children
In the past. Running Water Draw Arts &’Crafts Show has been
a favorite show for Plainview and area residents and this year prom-
ises to be an even bigger and better show filled with fun. excite-
ment, and treasures to purchase for every occasion
