Tied a single long stemmed pink
carnation.
Flower girls were Tammy
Bays and Wanda Keith, niece
and cousin of the bride. They
wore orchid brocade satin dres-
ses identical to those of the
bridesmaids. They carried arm
baskets of flower petals.
Best man was Bob Straub
of Sam Houston State College.
Groomsmen were phi! and Ran-
dy Barnes, brothers of the
groom, from De Leon. larry
Bays, brother of the bride and
Sammy Frasier of Stephenville
ushered.
The bride's mother wore a
yellow double knit dress with
white accessories. The groom's
mother chose a celery green
textured knit dress with match-
ing accessories. Their cor-
sages were white carnations.
After the wedding a recep-
tion was held in the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Keith. The
table, laid with a white cloth,
fearured an orchid and pink
flower arrangement with orchid
tapers In sliver candlabra.
Mrs. Johnny Carbell of Lin-
gleville served the four tiered
cake and Mrs. Jimmy Farley
served the punch. Miss Carol
Straub registered guests.
For going away the bride wore
an orchid double knit dress
with pink accessories and the
orchid from her wedding bou-
quet.
After a short trip the couple
will reside at 604 East Ross

tist Church with the Rev. Bob-

The bride, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Bays of the
Bays Community, Route 3, Dub-
lin, is a May graduate of Tjn-
gleville High School.
The bridegroom, graduate of
De Leon Highschool, is a Senior
at Tarleton state College and
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Barnes, Route 1, De Leon.
Altar decorations included
an arch of greenery flanked on
either side by baskets of white
gladiolus and white carnations.
Mrs. B.W. Mathis provided
the wedding music. Soloist was
Mrs. Travis Barnes.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor
length dress of chantilly lace
fashioned with long sleeves that
came to a point over the wrist.
Her fingertip veil of white tulle
fell from a tiara of satin, ac-
cented by a teardrop on the
forehead. She carried a white
orchid surrounded by orange
blossoms and stephanotis with
white satin streamers tied in
lovers knots on a white Bible.
Matron of honor was MTs.
Johnny Bell of Mineral Wells;
bridesmaid was Miss Denella
Paxton of Gatesville; and Linda
Bayes, sister of the bride, was
Junior bridesmaid. Their street
length empire dresses were

'something old’, the bride car-
ried an 1838 dime in her shoe.
Miss Melanie Lee Hammitt
of Fort Worth was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Miss
paula Jeanne Oates of Fort
Worth and Mrs. Larry Mack
Morgan of Comanche, sister
of the groom. The bridal at-
tendants wore floor length em-
pire line yellow dotted voile-
dresses, with yellow sashes.
They wore matching yellow-
petal headpieces and carried
cascades of yellow mums and
white daisies.
Miss Ann Elizabeth peele
of Irving was flower girl, wear-
ing a yellow, dotted voile dress,
fashioned after those worn by
the other attendants. She car-
ried the small straw basket
of rose petals which the bride
had carried in Ann’s mother’s
wedding.
Stephen George Ledford of
Dallas was best man. Paul
Douglas Hurt and James K.
White of Stephenville were
grooms men. Ushers were
Billy Mack Barnes of De Leon
and Stanley Delbert Carpenter
of Stephenville.
The bride's brother, Harold
Glenn Taylor, was candlelight-
er. Mark Wynne Hammitt of
Fort Worth was ring bearer.
For her daughter’s wedding,
Mrs. Taylor wore a princess
style frosty green silk crepe
dress with a matching flowered
liat and white accessories. The
groom's mother chose a two-
piece apricot dacron knit with
three-quarter length sleeves,
beige hat and accessories. Both
wore white glamellia corsages.
For traveling, the bride chose
a long waisted, pastel pink silk
crepe dress with a V neckline,
fitted bodice and pleated skirt.
She wore a white hat and white
accessories.
After a short wedding trip,
the couple will live in Steph-
enville.
The bride is a 1966 graduate
of Arlington Heights Highschool

Tuesday, June 3, for the De
Leon Hospital Auxiliary. The
theme for the installation was
‘Flowers and Their Colors'.

The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a white
empire style gown of silk or-
ganza, appliqued with re-em-
broidered alencon lace over
peau-de-soie. A peau-de-soie
chapel train fell from the alen-
con lace bodice. Her finger-
tip veil of silk illusion was
attached to silk organza seed
pearl roses. She carried a
white cascade bouquet of plial-
aenopsis orchids, feathered
in Fort Worth and the groom
is a 19G5 graduate of De Leon
High School. Both are pre-
sently seniors at Tarleton State
College in Stephenville.
A reception was held fol-
lowing the wedding ceremony
in the fellowship hall of the
church. Miss Linda Kay Ruth
presided at the guest book.
A small cherrub holding
an arrangement of white roses
formed the centerpiece for the
bride's table, which was dec-
orated with a yellow tulle skirt.
A miniature bride and groom
topped the three tier wedding
cake.
Members of the house party
included Misses Patricia Fra-
sier, sister of the groom, Janie
Jones, and Elizabeth Isom.

Frasier wedding party were
entertained with a rehearsal
dinner given by the groom's
parents at Holloway's Restau-
rant In Fort Worth, Thursday
evening, June 5th.

The bride, given in marriage
by tier father, wore a gown of
white satin brocade made for
her by her mother. She car-
ried a cascade bouquet of three
white orchids surrounded by
wedding bells. Cathedral tapers pink sweetheart rosebuds and
stephanotis with white satin
streamers. Miss Scott pre-
sented her mother a single
white rose on approaching the
altar and on leaving the altar
gave the groom's mother a
deep pink rose.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Scott chose a summer
knit of twilight blue with white
accessories. Mrs. Butts wore
a pastel pink crepe with white
accessories. Their corsages
were of white orchids.
A reception was held in the
Church Fellowship Hall immed-
iately following the ceremony.
The bride’s table, laid in
a floor length white cloth with
white net overskirt, was cen-
tered with an arrangement of
pink rosebuds and greenery.
