Masters Saturday, July 26th at

The couple were united in mar-
riage by the Rev. Dean Frank-
lin. pastor of the First United
Methodist Church in Burleaon.
The bride wore a street
length gown, A-line sheath
with lace overlay, with acallop-
ed border on sleeves and stand-
up collar.
Marilyn Ann Hill, sister of
the bride was maid of honor.

nett* Bond and Helen Badgett,
all of Burleson..
Judy is the daughter of Mr.

tax support for highway trans-
portation by about 70 per cent
during the past decade.
An analysis by the Automo-
bile Manufacturers Association
shows Texas state highway user
revenues have risen from
3294.4 million in 1958 to $501.8
million last year.. Included are
motor fuel taxes, vehicle regis-1
tration fees, motor carrier and
other miscellaneous user charg-
es.
The study as reported by
Harold J. Cousins, AMA reg-1
ional government relations and
information representative,
shows annual tax receipts from
the sale of motor fuel climbing1
from $170.1 million to $269.1
million in the 10-year period.
Cousins pointed out that
Texas also provides about $390
million annually to the Federal
government in automotive ex-
cise taxes.
He said that special motor
user taxes now represent 28-8
per cent of total Texas state
taxes.
