Hold Christmas Party At
Baptist Church Dec. 19th
Thirty members were pres-
ent Thursday, December 5th,
when the Senior Citizens Club
met at the First United Metho-
dist Church for a covered dish
luncheon and social meeting.
Games of forty-two, dominoes
and various o.ther games were
enjoye'd during the morning
hours. >
Lunch was served at the noon
hour, with A. G. Haynes giving
the invocation. .
A number of members were
ill, and they were remembered
in prayer. The next meeting will
be held December 19 at 1:00
p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
The Christmas program will
be under the direction of Mrs.
Earl W. Rogers.
At 2:00 p.m. gifts_ will be
exchanged, and refreshments
will be served.
All senior citizens of the
'community ate invited to be
preaent. •
