Panhandle lakes were: 212 —
no boat registration; 169 — no
boat numbers displayed; 84 —
no life preservers; 71 — pulling
skiers without a rear view mir-
ror; 51 — improperly displayed
numbers; 85 — improper light-
ing after dark; 47 — reckless
and dangerous boat handling;
31 — no fire extinguisher on
boats with enclosed fire haz-
ards; 16 — faulty life preserv-
ers present but inaccessible to
occupants.
