place of the Omega Delta
Chapter of Beta Sigma
Phi, Tuesday night March
3. The meeting was called
to order by Mrs. Harvey
Kinkade, chapter presi-
dent. A note of thanks
from the chairman of the
Texas State Project was
read. The note was in ap-
preciation of the contri-
bution the chapter sent to
the Steve Maxwell Memo-
rial Fund. The chapter
also discussed plans for
raising money for the
Burleson Boys Club.
Members will be selling
tickets for a womans wig-
let.
A letter from Interna-
tional headquarters was
received granting the
chapter permission to
start a Nu Phi Mu Chap-
ter for local girls ages
17-22 years. Plans are
being made to have a tea
for prospective members
April 5. Plans were also
discussed for working
with the Mobile Chest X-
ray unit in Burleson.
Mrs. Fred Green pre-
sented the program for
the evening. She showed
members paintings by
such famous people as
Van Gogh and Da Vinci.

ly’s it was crowded. After
lunch, they spent part of
the afternoon looking a-
round in the shopping
center. They headed
home about 3 o’clock
after a day of learning
about our area activities
and a day of fun.

medals each in UIL competition last
