at the funeral of Earl Grogin of,
Rugby, who was killed Friday
morning by his corn picker.

turned to Lakeview to make their

hear of the accident which hap-
pened to the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Newsome. We wish her
a speedy recovery.

day night for their Mary Hill

Church services wore well at-
tended Sunday at Macon. Bro.
Simons brought very inspiring ;
messages at both morning and
evening services. There was also
a larger number than usual at
Sunday School. All members are
urged to come next Sunday and
bring someone with you. It is the
beginning of a new year and also
a new quarter.
Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Lee were
dinner guest of their son and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Lee of
Pittsburg, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Miller are
moving today (Monday) to their
nwe home in Mt. Vernon.
Mrs. Jack Daughtry returned
home from Franklin County Hos-
pital where she underwent major
surjery last week. She is doing
nicely at this writing.-
Harlan Veasey and Shirley Mit-
chell of Dallas spent the week-end
with Mr. and Mrs. Coy Veasey.
They were accompanied by Mrs.
Veasey’s sister, Mrs. Althea
Moore.
