Last week was somewhat
slower, but we all needed a rest
after the holidays. Last Tues-

Steputis, Blue Angels, were out
to visit Ann Gratehouae, Estelle
Howe, Delma Roberts, and An-
nie Dalton respectfully Tues-
day afternoon was Bible Study
and Communion with Bro. Bob

United Methodist Women met
for their regular meeting In the
fellowship hall of the Ingleside
Methodist Church on Tuesday,
Jan. 10 at 10:30 a.m. with 18
members present
Laurie Bowden, president,
presided at the business
meeting. Lois Davison pre-
sented the program entitled
“The Beginning of the
Journey’’.
Plans were made for a Mex-
ican dinner to be served on
Monday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to
2 p.m at a cost of 84 per plate

will be in the home of Dolores
Holmes at 6:30 p.m. The main
course will be in Brenda
Richardson’s home at 7:45 p.m.

in Winnie Stewart’s home.
The wedding took place on
January 7, 1964 at 3 p.m. at the
First State Bank of Uvalde in
Uvalde, Texas. Music was pro-
vided by pianist, Mrs Mary
Berry Mrs Jackie Crenshaw
Rutherford sang, "You Are My
Best Friend ".
The bride was attended by
Mary Ann Bliss as mold of
honor. Casey Allen was the
flower girl and Pete Winn at-
tended the groom as best man
Ron Winn was the ring bearer
Wes Winn and Doug Allen were
the ushers
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a long white
gown with simple lace and a
train, with long sleeves and
matching veil.
The attendants were attired
in floor length burgundy
dresses. The bride’s mother
chose a street length pink dress
and the groom’s mother chose a
street length royal blue dress
A reception followed at the
bank. The bride's table featured
a traditional three tiered wed-
ding cake surrounded by
flowers of burgundy, pink and
white. The groom’s table of-
fered the coffee, and the
groom’s cake accented with two
small arrangements of the
flowers that complimented the
bride's table.
Judy Thurman and Peggy
Benton served the refreshments
to the guests
The couple will be at home on
a ranch north of Uvalde. The
bride is a graduate of IHS, of
Tarleton State University,
Blinn Junior College and De)
Mar College. The groom is a
graduate of Nueces Canyon
High School in Campwood,
Texas and earned a bachelor of
science degree from Texas
Tech University
