come directly from school,
but it may be about 3:15
before she gets the library
open, so if you get there
right at 3:00, just wait a
few minutes. Mrs. Emma
B Sartain will be keeping
the library on Tuesdays
and Thursdays and Mrs.
Virginia Singletary on
Fridays.
A large new clock,
donated to the library by
Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Warner
is in place and keeping
time. We wish to thank Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Grammer for
the old clock which served
us well for a number of
years, until it refused to be
reset.
For this busy time of
year when few people have
time to read books, let me
recommend a trip to the
library for a few
magazines. Even old
magazines have a lot to
offer and whether your
interest is travel (Southern
Living, Arizona Highways,
National Geographic,
Israel, Jordan) hunting
and fishing (Outdoor Life,
Field and Stream, Sports
Afield, Texas Parks and
Wildlife do-it-yourself
projects (Popular Science,
Mechanix Illustrated,
Workbench) or history
(Americana, Early
American Life,
Smithsonian, National
History) there are
magazines to interest you.
