Port Lavaca, at 9:30 a m today in
Victoria Our Lady of Sorrows

Cemetery under the direction of Vic-
toria Artero Memorial Chapels
He was born July 13, 1903 in Vic-
toria County, the son of the late
Marcelo and Manuela Salinas Men
diola He had been employed as a
custodian for the Victoria Indepen-
dent School District before his
retirement
Survivors include two daughters,
Anita Sandoval of Corpus Chris}!
and Delfina Mendiola of Chicago,
III .a son. Jose Mendiola ot Chicago,
111 . two sisters. Mana Ruiz of Vic-
toria and Rita Villarreal of Port
Lavaca, a brother. Servando
Salinas of San Antonio, and eight
grandchildren
He died Friday morning in a Vic-
toria hospital following a lengthy il-
lness.
