Drs. Lazard and Zidella Brener
and grandchildren.
Don’t miss it. . .
We want to share it with EVERYONE!
Friday, January 28 - 6:00-6:45 p.m.
As always, ESP (Early Shabbat Prayers) is the informal,
come-as-you-are early Friday evening service designed par-
ticularly for “small fry” families, but open to everyone who
likes to actively participate in Shabbat worship. And as always,
there will be special blessings for the children and wine and
challah for all, but on January 28, there will also be all these
extras:
• Guest “cantors” - the entire service will be conducted by the
youngsters of the Beth Hayeled and the first grade of our
Day School.
• Guest stars - the “builders” of the Beth Yeshurun Schools...
Dr. Zidella Brener, Irwin Caplan, Dr. Daniel Musher, Peggy
Samet and Dr. Helen Schaffer... will each receive a special
JNF gift certificate stating that the Beth Yeshurun Schools
have planted a grove of 1000 trees in Israel in their honor!
Dr. Solomon Goldman, JNF National Education Director,
will make the presentations.
• Guest families - the spouses and children of our honored
“builders” will be on the pulpit to share their big moment.
• Super supper - 500 Beth Yeshurunites will enjoy a fabulous
chicken dinner following service. We make no promises, but
just maybe there’s still a place left for you. Call 666-1884
today! Adults, $6.50. Children, $3.00.
• Super entertainment - following the dinner, Beth Hayeled
youngsters will present a delightful Tu Bishvat program.
For an unforgettable Shabbat, ESP on January 28!
(There will be no 8 p.m. service.)
