club's community service
project for the year. Funds
for the purchase of the items
donated by the chapter were
raised through donations
and proceeds from the fall
style show.
"The project was made
possible with the support of
numerous persons in the
community, who made the
plaza style show a tremen-
dous success,” commented
Mrs Hammond “This is our
way of saying thanks,
through the return of this
service to the community ”

ceremonies were joined by
guests Martha Mullins and
Sue Long for a program on
home interiors during the
club’s meeting at Lowry's
Homefurnishings
Mona Dodson, decorating
consultant for Lowry’s,
presented the program for
the members Included in
the information presented
were suggestions on the use
of accent pieces in the home,
how trends and style affect
home decor; and other
general decorating tips.
Lowry's provided
refreshments to members
and guests following the pro-
gram
The next meeting of the
chapter is scheduled for
