for agency partnerships in
2015. The applicant must be an
incorporated 501c (3) tax-exempt

or educational organization)
serving Calhoun County
residents. The United Way of
Calhoun County will consider
applications for programs that
meet the following priorities:
education, income and health.

Bond project information
Calhoun County Independent
School District placed a bond
project update on the CCISD
website in an effort to keep
the public informed of bond
construction activities. To view
the information, click on the
2013 Bond Project Update link
at the top right corner of the
CCISD website to see a summary
of the overall progress on
the construction. The blue
link in the middle of the page
will display the status of the
progress on all of the planned
construction. This will be
updated monthly as progress is
made during construction.
GT nominations
Nominations are now being
accepted for Calhoun County
Independent School District’s
Gifted and Talented Program.
To recommend an exceptional
student in grades kindergarten
through twelve, nomination
forms may be obtained from
any CCISD school. Completed
forms must be returned to
the student’s home campus
on or before Friday, Jan. 16.
Qualifying students will be
eligible for program services in
the 2015-16 school year except
kindergarten. Kindergarten
students will receive services
in March 2015. For
information, contact
CCISD school counselor.
