the last five of which included
interim police chief Colin
Rangnow. They took no action
after coming back into the open

“The local candidate is still

is all I can say at this time,”
Bradshaw said.
The job of police chief
has been open since James
Martinez, who held the position
for four years, resigned in
February to take a job at
Victoria College.
The council also approved
a request by American Legion
Post 167 and Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post 4403 for a
permit and traffic control to
hold a parade Saturday, Nov.
