Social Action Committee members and Count Me In made
Hanukkah very special for the Jewish residents at Richmond State
School this holiday. The committee covered three of the days
of Hanukkah by lighting the Menorah, singing songs and play-
ing dreidel with the residents. Everyone who participated in the
celebration had a lovely time. SAC members who took part were
Ileene Robinson, Ivan and Enid Knobler and Harold Gottlieb.
Enid, who has worked with special education programs said, “The
facility was impeccable and the residents had lots of laughter to
offer us, making our experience a true mitzvah.” Count Me In sent
outstanding gifts for each night of Hanukkah. The administration,
staff and residents wish to express their sincere thanks for making
this a special time in the lives of the residents.
