delayed, aome days on account of a
shortage of water. The Wallace
Drilling Company of Corai0ina has
the contract for drilling thia well.
Big Indian Well Should Soon Be
Down to Oil Sand.
, If ia reported today that the Big
Indian well on the Lister farm ia
drilling below 3350 feet. It should
not be many days before this well
reaches the oil sand found in the
Big Indian test on the Daria farm
around 3439 feet. If the Lister .well
could be completed as a good pro
ducer it would mean much to the
BCallisburg field. It is going to take
a real paying oil well to get the
boom started again.
. The well at Orlena has been com-
pleted to the contract depth of 3600

The Texas Company has received
a string of ^ix-inch casing for its
well being drilled north of Tioga.
Thia test is down some 2680 feet and
driving will be resumed this week.
A rich oil sand was found in this
wel| around 2667 feet, but it was im-
possible to shut the salt water out
and save the well at that depth, so
the management has decided to drill
deeper with hopes of picking up an-
