This is the 16th year for Gainesville Fire-
Rescue's Fire Prevention week activities.
Firefighters dressed as clowns visited a slate
of local schools to deliver lessons on safety.
Gainesville Fire-Rescue administrative assis-
tant Tamara Sieger said a lot of time and prep-
aration goes into the clown presentations. The
performers always adopt a theme for their pre-
sentations, she noted. This year's programs
had a Pokemon Go theme, she noted. Pictured,
in no particular order, are Randy Prestige,
Shannon Jeffcoat, David Heller and Brandon
Prough. The firefighters were performing their
show on the Chalmers Elementary School cam-
pus in Gainesville.
Economic
Corporation
director Arleene Loyd said.
She noted 22 percent of
the jobs available
October 29.
