Notes

Translation of Item: "Dear Mrs Kempner,
Mother received your letter and she thanks you very much for your kindness, she doesn't want you to thank her for the butter, because it is she who owes you a lot of thanks for all the things you have given her and for what you did for me.
My sister is very fond of you. She finds you very tender and hopes to give you satisfaction in her work. She hopes that you are very well in Paris as well as your husband, and that you also had a good trip and that you have a happy time in Paris, unfortunately the weather is not nice and life is very expensive.
I had a very good trip and felt very comfortable on the boat,
I arrived in Le Havre and saw the agent of the company who took care of your car, it was in good condition
I visited Madame Bibault and Celerre, they hope to have your visit, Madame Bibault is still a little ill, but she's doing well
My parents are very good but my dad has aged a lot and lost weight, they are happy to have me, so Mam if you need me I am at your disposal
Please believe Mr. and Mrs. Kempner you have my best feelings.

Louise Hamon"
